2011 Toy Fair: ThunderCat! Hooo! From Bandai

The new products from Bandai that are based on the new cartoon network series are looking good and solid while preserving their “fun” factor.

Since the story is going to focus on a young Lion-O and basically telling the story of his struggles in becoming a king, there are going to be some new characters as well as all the classic figures.

Based on the storyline, there are going to be a few new characters including a villain who uses his head as a weapon.

The new method of head butting is achieved by taking own head off and throwing it at people. This villain does not yet appear amongst the planned figures but we do have two new characters (so far), in form of Lion-O and Tygra.

We can expect to see the regular 4-inch figures as well as deluxe ones with electronic detachable bases.

The Deluxe Lion-O will activate the eye of Thundera sword stick, and you will hear him say, "Thunder! Thunder! Thundercats Hoo!

There are also the 8-inch classic figures based on the original Thundercats which are very detailed and highly articulated.
