The Gladiators of the Gridiron Football Figures were first released by the Pro Specialties Group in 2004 and there are now seven series of figures available to collect.

Established in 1997 the Pro Specialties Group is one of the largest marketers and manufacturers of advertising specialties and licensed products in the world

Among the products retailed by Pro Specialties Group was their line of football figures.

These 9" tall figures are made of PVC with articulation on the arms, legs, elbows and wrists. Unlike other figures the Gladiators of the Gridiron are also dressed in authentic uniforms with removable shoulder pads carrying the appropriate NFL Team logo as well as a football and helmet.

These figures though are nowhere near the standard of McFarlane's Sports Picks figures as they have little resemblance to the actual players and their uniforms tend to be oversized.

However that said they are reasonably priced and great for the kids!
