A closer look at Bandi's Modern Thundercats

These 4 and 6-inch figures from Bandai are based on the new animated series contrary to 8-inch classic figures which were comic based.

The collaboration between WBA and Studio4°C, one of the most vibrant animation studios in Japan resulted in this new Thundercats series. The storyline is the same while the use of cutting edge technology resulted in some vibrant effects. So be sure not to miss the new series aired later this year.

As a reminder Thundercats is the story of Lion-O who has to fight his way to take his rightful place as king. His faithful comrades are Tygra, Cheetara, Panthro, WilyKit and WilyKat , while out to stop him is the evil sorcerer Mumm-Ra.

Besides the usual offer of basic figures, there will also be a 4-inch deluxe version each one will come with a base and accessory as well as an embedded magnet which unlocks the unique actions associated with that figure.

The first wave will cover Lion-O, Grune, Tygra and Mumm-Ra in 4-inch form and Lion-O, Panthro, and Mumm-Ra as 6-inch figures. All the figures are enjoying 18 points of articulation and come with their iconic weapon of choice.
