Medicom's 12" R.A.H. Marvel Blade Action Figure
Blade is one of my all-time favorite comic book characters and I am a big fan of the movies. This action figure is NOT based on the Wesley Snipes version of Blade but the original Marvel comic book character.
This new Blade Figure is beautifully scuplted and degisned to continue Medicom's successful series of Marvel Real Action Hero action figures. Medicom's Real Action Hero action figures feature on of the most articulated bodies on the market capable of achieving virturll and position that the human dody can achieve. Blade, born over seventy years ago in London, England, entered the World already a casualty in the war that had raged for a millennia between light and dark. His mother, suffering from severe labor complications, unwittingly summoned the Vampire named Deacon Frost help but instead he fed on her as she gave birth. The result was that Blade, although not becoming a vampire, inherited some of the vampire enzymes thereby created a unique hybrid.
He also inherited many of the vampires supernatural abilities incuding a resistance to aging and being immune to vampirism. Blade was later in life befriended and mentored by Jamal Afari who taught him hand to hand combat skills. With these additional skills and his supernatural abilities he starts a personal vendetta against all vempires to avenge the death of his mother. During a battle againgst the scientifically created vampire Morbius he is bitten but this only causes him to become stronger as the enzymes he inherits from Morbius give him supernatural strength.
