Gracelyn are a little known company who have been producing NFL figures since 2006 and have released four series to date (2008).

As most of you are probably aware Gracelyn aren't the main makers of collectible sports figures as that title surely must go to McFarlane Toys.

However it is also widely known that these figures have a more statuesque quality than true "action figures" and lack a certain amount of poseability.

It seems that Gracelyn appreciates what a true action figure should be as these figures are fully articulated with articulation on the head, arms, upper swivel arms, elbows, wrists, waist, legs, knees, and ankles.

Information on these figures is fairly scarce which is unfortunate as they are excellently made and superbly detailed figures and are one of the few truly articulated NFL figures on the market.

Each of these figures finely detailed figures stands approx 6-inches and has the player's name, number, and team insignia printed on the figure's uniform, even down to some tiny little NFL logos on the shirt, pants, and gloves.

They are solidly made from very good quality materials, are well-assembled and the paint work has been carefully applied. The laces on the trousers, the mesh on the shirt, the face guard on the helmet, have all been carefully and neatly sculpted. They also come with a base but this isn't required as they stand perfectly well on their own.

One of the main flaws in these figures is that the helmet isn't removable so you can't get a good look at the figures face.

Gracelyn deserve a lot more exposure and credit for these figures. They are solidly made, well articulated, excellently sculpted, meticulously painted, finely detailed and fairly priced. As such it would be a shame to see this line discontinued and lost to collectors from a lack of support and sales.
