Halo Jorge Figure

Jorge 052 is the Chief Warrant Officer of the Spartan II Commando troop representing the Naval Special Warfare of the UNSC. He was very much in the limelight featuring in the historical fight of the fall of the Reach in which he fought for the Noble Team assuming the call sign of Noble Five.

Jorge was born in 2511 and was later abducted and enlisted to the Spartan II at the age of six. He successfully underwent a rigorous augmentation program to enhance his combative prowess in a variety of war fields. He is also the only Noble member to have experienced so much action against the human militants.

Jorge is well known for his expressive and vocal attitude though many people find it difficult to read what goes in his mind. He has displayed an empathetic caring for the civilians, a unique trait not shared by other Spartans. Jorge has a strong affinity to Reach, his home planet which was aptly demonstrated in his willingness to sacrifice himself to save his planet.

Brute Minor

Though the humans have named them as the brutes the Covenant identifies them as the Jiralhanae which translates as Wild Slave.

These new members of the Covenant are ape like, bipedal massive species who hail from the Doisac. They are also the second species of the Covenant the humans encounter during a raid that takes place on the ‘This End Up’ freighter.

The brutes profoundly hate the Sangheili causing their hatred to be the biggest feud taking place within the Covenant. The Covenant uses the brutes as their secret police service and as such much of their work is carried out behind the scenes.

Due to their immense physical strength they can be physically intimidating enemies to be faced in the battle arena. With an impressive height of 9 foot they easily tower over their opponents, particularly the humans. They also feature a thick and shaggy grayish skin which offers them ample protection against all kinds of damage.

Elite General

The Elite which stands for Sangheili, meaning ‘I glorify my kin’ in Latin, are a species with proud, fierce, agile, intelligent and strong attributes.

The warriors are highly skilled in their combat tactics. The Elites get their name after Sanghelios which is their home planet.

However, the humans call them as the Elites in acknowledgement of their immense combat skills and adeptness in war techniques. The Elites represent the Covenant’s military backbone and within the Covenant they strongly rival the Brutes.

The tension between the two parties comes in to the open during the battle of the Great Schism. The Elites measures around 2.59 meters in height when they are dressed in their battle armor and helmet.

They only have two gigantic fingers on each hand and have a physical appearance resembling a lizard. When dressed in their full armor they also have a menacing shark like look mainly due to the fins attached to their helmets. The Elites are admired for their tremendous strength and high intelligence along with their commitment to up keeping honor and endless bravery.

Grunt Major

The Grunts were introduced in to the Covenant at a later stage of the game. They are known to the humans as the Grunts who named them as such during their first encounter during the Third Covenant.

The name Grunt is used for this species largely due to their comparative physical and mental weakness in contrast to their intellectually superior seniors. The Grunts are therefore allocated with menial tasks in war and are put to use for major labor work that needs to be executed within the Covenant.

The Grunts who are known as the Unggoy within the Covenant have retained a better part of their own cultural values and identities despite being a lesser acknowledged species. The Grunts have almost zero political power within the Covenant and have been classified as a similar species of the Earth’s arthropods by the UNSC.

UNSC Marine

The Marine Corps of the UNSC is a subsidiary of the UNSCDF. They are in charge of land based military operations and for the safe guarding of all naval vessels and related installations.

The UNSC marine is composed of a dynamic and rigged assortment of men and women all well trained and well equipped in their classified specializations. One of their most significant conflicts was witnessed when they fought a loosing war with the Covenant’s far superior technology.

Their uniforms are very similar to the ones worn by their predecessors of the US Marine Corps of the 20th and 21st century with a stylish variation of the emblem which they wear on their collars.
