Since McFarlanes announcement back in November that they had acquired the license to produce Halo figures fans have been waiting eagerly for their release.

Well at last Halo Figures Series 1 is here!

McFarlane Toys Halo figures are THE RETAIL PHENOMENON of the year!

Since their release in March fans of the game have been clamoring for these Halo figures and retailers are reporting a brisk trade and sell through of the product.

Wal-Mart, Toys 'R' Us, KB Toys and GameStop report that they are disappearing off the shelves almost as soon as they reach stores and they're demanding more, More, MORE!

Halo 3 Master Chief Action Figure

Master Chief is the main protagonist in Halo 3 and his mission is to protect Earth from the Covenant, who are intent on destroying mankind and the Earth, in the 26 Century.

Master Chief is a biologically and genetically enhanced super soldier developed by the Reach.

With his cybernetic enhancements and rigorous military training Master Chief is unquestionably the finest soldier ever produced.

Figure Specs

Stands 5 inches tall.

Eighteen points of articulation, including neck, shoulders, wrists, waist, hips, knees, ankles and toes.

Includes assault rifle.

Halo 3 Brute Chieftain Action Figure

T The Brute race are a part of the Covenant and the rank of Chieftain is the highest that can be achieved within it's hierarchy.

Equipped with a gravity hammer, which is a close range weapon that can change the local gravity to crush his enemies and surroundings.

Figure Specs

Stands 6 1/2 inches tall.

Articulated at neck, shoulders, elbows, wrists, waist hips, thighs, knees and ankles.

Includes gravity hammer.

Halo 3 Cortana Action Figure

Beautiful, sexy and deadly Cortana is an A.I. developed by the United Nations Space Command (UNSC).

She is capable of transferring herself between computer systems and project a holographic image of herself.

Cortana is a very smart cookie and her 4.5 inch figure is lit up by an LED light in the figure's base.

Figure stands 4 1/2 inches high on 4 1/8-inch diameter by 7/8-inch tall light-up base.

Halo 3 Jackal Sniper Action Figure

Jackal Snipers are deadly members of the Covenant who are well known for their incredibly fast reflexes and accurate aim.

The Jackal Sniper's beam rifle is capable of long range shooting with deadly accuracy and a high level of damage.

Figure Specs

Stands 4 1/2 inches tall.

Articulated at neck, shoulders, biceps, elbows, wrists, waist, knees and ankles.

Includes beam rifle.

Grunt 2 Pack

The Grunt is the lowest ranking member of the Covenant and make up the vast majority of the Covenant.

The Grunts are the subordinates of the Brute and are expected to follow their orders unquestioningly.

Although they are generally regarded as "cannon fodder" and expendable they usually fight in packs are are quite deadly.

The Grunts are usually equipped with a Plasma Pistol and Needler.

This pack comes with two of these 3 1/2 inch figures.

Figure Specs

Stands 31/2 inches tall.

Articulated at neck, shoulders, elbows, hips, knees and ankles.

Green Grunt includes plasma pistol, orange Grunt includes needler.

Both Grunts include a removable facemask.

Spartan Soldier

With more than 16 points of articulation on these 6 inch figures each will also come equipped with an assault rifle and grenade accessories which can either be hand held or stored on his back or leg.

There will be six different versions of this figure available:

• Spartan Mark VI (red) mass produced
• Spartan EVA (red) mass produced
• Spartan Mark VI (white)specialty
• Spartan Mark VI (blue)Wal-Mart
• Spartan CQB (blue) Wal-Mart
• Spartan CQB (steel)GameStop

When they arrive at the Cairo station Mastar Chief's Mark V armor is heavily damaged and so he replaces it with the slimmer and lighter Mark VI armour.

Available in two different colors the Red version will be the mass produced figure and will be available at all retail stores whereas the White version will be available in a lot less quantities and will only be distributed to speciality stores.

Spartan with CQB Armor

CQB stand for Close Quarters Combat Armour and is a specialized version of the standard Mark VI MJOLNIR Armor. With improved mobility and special functions this armour has been adapted to give the Spartan II Super Soldier improved survivability in close quarter combat fighting.

The BLUE Spartan CQB Halo 3 figure will only be available through Wal-Mart stores and is likely to be in huge demand so you may need to queue early for this one.

Spartan with Eva Armor

This specialized version of the standard Spartan II MJOLNIR Mark VI Armor has been adapted to increase exo-atmospheric endurance and increased mobility in zero gravity.

This is another Red version of the Spartan soldier and like the Red Spartan with the Mark VI MJOLNIR armour will be available at all retail stores and will be mass produced.

Stands 5 inches tall.

Articulated at neck, shoulders, wrists, waist, hips, knees, ankles and toes.

My advice: Get your hands on an WHITE MJOLNIR and CQB version figure as soon as you can. Particularly the CQB figures.

The others are likely to be available for some time, particularly the RED MJOLNIR and RED EVA Armor which will be mass produced.

In fact the hottest of these is likely to be the BLUE CQB Wal-Mart Exclusive simple because the majority of collectors and fans outside of the USA will be unable to get any!

The others on the other hand are likely to be readily available on the internet at their normal retail price whereas the Blue Version I predict will rocket in price.

It's also probably the coolest and best looking of the lot.

Halo figures Series 1 Vehicles

The series will also feature three vehicles from the game:

Warthog-

The Warthog is the best known and most widely used of the UNSC vehicles.

It is a general land carrier capable of carrying up to 3 soldiers.

It is the UNSC's most versatile and best all-round vehicle for its adaptability and toughness.

Figure Specs

Measures 4 inches front to back, 2 inches side to side.

Features rolling wheels and rotating turret.

Features swiveling balljoint and 4-inch by 2-inch base.

Ghost

This single seated anti gravity vehicle is used extensively by the Covenant.

A rapid attack vehicle it has excellent speed and maneuverability and is armed with twin plasma cannons.

Figure Specs

Measures 4 ¼ inches front to back, 3 5/8 inches side to side.

Features swiveling balljoint and 4-inch by 2-inch base.

Brute Chopper-

This vehicle makes its debut in Halo 3 and is a single wheeled vehicle that has proved to be invaluable to the Covenants campaign against humanity.

What are Halo Points?

Halo Points is a reward program for buying McFarlane Toys' Halo 3 action figures and vehicles. Every figure and vehicle comes with a number of points. Simply save these points and redeem them for free Halo products. Halo Points are located on the figure or vehicle packaging, on the UPC bar code, as shown to the right. You must be 17 or older to participate.

The Halo Points program officially begins Winter 2008. We are not yet accepting points or mailing rewards. We just want you to know what you have to look forward to!

This Spartan features the highly coveted Recon armor, plus a Bomb, Gravity Hammer and Sword Hilt.

The McFarlane Toys Grifball Spartan marks the first time an action figure has been created based on the Grifball game. Created by Rooster Teeth, Grifball is an intense, fast-paced sport video game that's played on an open court between two teams of four players.
