The Harvey Dent Figure, AKA Two-Face is a fictional character who appeared in comic books published by DC Comics. He first appeared in Detective Comics #66 (August 1942), and was created by Bob Kane and Bill Finger.

Once the District Attorney of Gotham City and an ally of Batman he becomes insane after the Joker disfigures half his face with acid.

Harvey Dent then goes on to become the crime boss Two-Face, who chooses to do either good or evil depending on the flip of a coin.

Originally, Two-Face was one of many gimmick-focused comic book villains, plotting crimes based around the number two, such as robbing Gotham Second National Bank at 2:00 on February 2.

Creator Bob Kane came up with the idea of Two Face after seeing a movie poster advertising the Spencer Tracy film Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde.

He has since appeared in multiple Batman media forms, including video games, Batman: The Animated Series, and the Batman film series. Billy Dee Williams portrayed Harvey Dent in Batman, while Tommy Lee Jones portrayed Two-Face in Batman Forever and Aaron Eckhart played Harvey Dent/Two-Face in The Dark Knight.

In the Dark Knight Harvey Dent is portrayed as more of a tragic hero and vigilante rather than the villain he is often portrayed as in the comic books.

Also in the movie Harvey Dent becomes disfigured after escaping from a building rigged to explode by the Joker, half of his face becomes doused in gasoline and catches on fire.

Taking in the nickname given to him by the police, Two Face, while he was a DA he confronts both the mobsters and the corrupt police officers who ruined his life, flipping a coin to decide whether to kill them or not on the flip of a coin.

Eventually his need for vengeance on Commissioner Gordon and Batman and while struggling with Batman he apparently falls off a building to his demise.

Review

now hot on the heels of both the Bat Pod and Bank Robber Joker (BRJ) comes everybody's favourite DA, Mr Harvey Dent, the good man turned bad, but not just your average fall from grace, Oh no!

The Joker organised something far more spectacular for Gotham's whitest of knights, first he murders all the 'essential' people he needs in his case against the mob, then he engineers a situation that kills the woman he loves, and leaves him hideously disfigured and in constant pain. He even manages to convince Dent that...(read more on MC Toys)
