At first when Qui Gon reported a Sith attack during the events surrounding the attack on Naboo Ki Adi Mundi expressed shock and disbelieve as the Sith had been thought of as extinct. However he later realized the true gravity and danger surrounding the Sith threat but not before the Jedi lost Qui-Gon. A full decade later the Jedi Order faced its gravest ever crisis with the Separist movement that was threatening to split from the Republic. Ki Adi Mundi, along with other Jedis, became a General during the Clone Wars in a bid to prevent the Separatiist movement spreading. He was beginning to grow wary of the changes the Jedi Council was experiencing intiated by Chancellor Palpatine.
