HELPING YOU TAKE CARE OF YOUR FIGURE(S)!
McFarlane Legends Are Back!
McFarlane Legends NFL figures are without doubt their most popular Sports Picks line of the year - winner of the SPAWN.com Action Figure Award for "Best Lineup" two years running and possibly a third by the looks of this series! Collectors have known the player lineup for McFarlane Legends NFL Legends 3 for several months now, but I'm happy to finally reveal exactly what will be in this most-anticipated series.
Bo Jackson is one of a very few American athletes who has been named an all star in two of the three major sports in America, i.e. Football and Baseball. He also became famous in the mid-80's due to a series of Nike ads that he did. The series became known as "Bo knows..." and feartured stars from a variety of other sports, including Wayne Gretzky and George Foreman as well as having bit parts on several TV shows. His career highlights include:
Bo is shown glancing over his right shoulder, checking for markers, as he breaks away and readies to pass the ball. Measuring approx 6 inches to the top of his helmet in his Black Los Angeles Raiders jersey and with articulation at the neck and biceps on a 5 1/2 inch custom base..
Probably one of the greatest Quarterbacks in American football history Dan Marino either holds or has held virtually every NFL passing record but despite this he has never played for a Super Bowl winning team. He played for the Miami Dolphins for 16 years from 1983-1999 during which time he led them to numerous playoffs and won many awards and set a number of new records. His career highlights include:
Dan Marino will be particularly remembered for his incredibly quick release, timed at 1.9-2.1 seconds, and a powerful arm. He is shown here wearing a Miami Dolphins white jersey ready to launch one of his infamous cannon shots down the field for his team-mates. Standing approx 6 inches in height on a custom base he has articulation on the neck and bicepes.
McFarlane Legends Earl Campbell Nicknamed The Tyler Rose after his hometown of Tyler, which is known as the rose capital of America, he married his childhood sweetheart from high school in 1980 and they have two sons. Campbell was widely regarded as the best running back in NFL History and has often been described as a one man demolition team and one of the most feared runners of his time. His career highlights include:
During his many years in the NFL Earl suffered many knocks and hits to his body resulting in many injuries which have resulted in his suffering from severe arthritis in his knees and he is often confined to a wheelchair. Shredding a tackle Earl Campbell measures 6 inches in height on his custom base wearing a Huston Oilers blue jersey.
John Elway Jr played for the Denver Broncos from 1983-1998 as a Quaterback. He has more wins and one of the best winning percentages in American Football history and is regarded as one of the games greatest ever athletes. He has also started more Superbowls than any other quaterback and is only the second to have scored a rushing touchdown in four different Superbowls. Other career highlights include:
Standing back, hand holding onto the ball Elway surveys his options before launching his pass. Looking resplendent in his Dark blue Denver Broncos jersey he stands 6 1/2 inches tall with articulation at the biceps and neck on a custom base.
McFarlane Legends Roger Staubach Roger Staubach was a champion among champions when he played as a Quarterback with Dallas Cowboys for ten years during their reign as America's Team in the 70's. He was instrumental in their four Super bowl appearances and in Super bowl VI was named MVP of the game. Often referred to as "Roger the Dodger" because of his ability to elude tackles, he has also been dubbed "Capt Comeback" because of his many fourth quarter heroics in leading scoring drives in the dieing minutes og a game that would often result in the Cowboys winning the game. His illustrous career in the NFL included:
Staubach has just passed the ball during one of his famous last minute drives down the field. Measuring 7 5/8 inches to the tip of his raised hand in his white Dallas Cowboys jersey he is articulated at the neck and biceps.
McFarlane Legends Reggie White Reggie White has been dubbed the "Minister of Defense" in reference to his ordination as an Evangelical Christian and his record as one of the all time leaders in sacks in the NFL's history. His career highlights include:
Head bent shoulders forward Reggie burst through the line in this action pose measuring 5 1/2 inches to the top of his helmet and articulated at the neck and biceps and standing on a custom base. The Reggie White figure is available in both his dark green Green Bay Packers jersey or his bright green Philadelphia Eagles jersey.
