McFarlane Legends NFL figures are without doubt their most popular Sports Picks line of the year - winner of the SPAWN.com Action Figure Award for "Best Lineup" two years running and possibly a third by the looks of this series!

Collectors have known the player lineup for McFarlane Legends NFL Legends 3 for several months now, but I'm happy to finally reveal exactly what will be in this most-anticipated series.

Bo Jackson Figure Video Preview

McFarlane Legends Bo Jackson

Bo Jackson is one of a very few American athletes who has been named an all star in two of the three major sports in America, i.e. Football and Baseball.

He also became famous in the mid-80's due to a series of Nike ads that he did. The series became known as "Bo knows..."

and feartured stars from a variety of other sports, including Wayne Gretzky and George Foreman as well as having bit parts on several TV shows.

His career highlights include:

  • 1990 Pro-Bowl selection
  • An average 6.8 yards per carry as a rookie
  • 1st Overall pick in the 1986 NFL Draft
  • 1st NFL player with two 90+ yard rushing touchdowns

Probably one of the greatest Quarterbacks in American football history Dan Marino either holds or has held virtually every NFL passing record but despite this he has never played for a Super Bowl winning team.

He played for the Miami Dolphins for 16 years from 1983-1999 during which time he led them to numerous playoffs and won many awards and set a number of new records.

His career highlights include:

  • 9 time Pro Bowler
  • 61, 361 passing yards, the highest ever in NFL history.
  • 420 touchdown passes, the highest ever in NFL history
  • The second highest in all-time completions with 4,967.
  • 1984 Most Valued Player Award
  • Inducted into the NFL Hall of Fame in Aug 2005.

Dan Marino will be particularly remembered for his incredibly quick release, timed at 1.9-2.1 seconds, and a powerful arm.

Nicknamed The Tyler Rose after his hometown of Tyler, which is known as the rose capital of America, he married his childhood sweetheart from high school in 1980 and they have two sons.

Campbell was widely regarded as the best running back in NFL History and has often been described as a one man demolition team and one of the most feared runners of his time.

His career highlights include:

  • 5 times Pro Bowler
  • 1979 NFL Most Valued Player
  • 9,407 rushing yards
  • Rushed 4,444 yards in college
  • Inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1991

During his many years in the NFL Earl suffered many knocks and hits to his body resulting in many injuries which have resulted in his suffering from severe arthritis in his knees and he is often confined to a wheelchair.

John Elway Jr played for the Denver Broncos from 1983-1998 as a Quaterback. He has more wins and one of the best winning percentages in American Football history and is regarded as one of the games greatest ever athletes.

He has also started more Superbowls than any other quaterback and is only the second to have scored a rushing touchdown in four different Superbowls.

Other career highlights include:

  • 9 time Pro Bowler
  • 2 Times NFL Champion
  • 5 AFC Championships
  • 7 AFC West Division Titles
  • 51,475 passing yards, third highest in the NFL
  • 300 touchdown passes, fourth all-time highest in the NFL
  • First overall pick in the 1983 NFL Draft
  • Inducted into the NFL Hall of Fame in 2004, the first player ever to be inducted into the Hall of Fame by their daughter.

Roger Staubach was a champion among champions when he played as a Quarterback with Dallas Cowboys for ten years during their reign as America's Team in the 70's. He was instrumental in their four Super bowl appearances and in Super bowl VI was named MVP of the game.

Often referred to as "Roger the Dodger" because of his ability to elude tackles, he has also been dubbed "Capt Comeback" because of his many fourth quarter heroics in leading scoring drives in the dieing minutes og a game that would often result in the Cowboys winning the game.

His illustrous career in the NFL included:

  • 6 times Pro Bowler
  • NFL Champion twice
  • 4 NFC Championships
  • NFL Most Valued Player in 1971
  • Has led the NFL in passing yards 4 times
  • Inducted to the Hall of Fame in 1985
  • Voted the 29 Greatest Football Player of all time by The Sporting Times in 1999

Staubach has just passed the ball during one of his famous last minute drives down the field. Measuring 7 5/8 inches to the tip of his raised hand in his white Dallas Cowboys jersey he is articulated at the neck and biceps.

Reggie White has been dubbed the "Minister of Defense" in reference to his ordination as an Evangelical Christian and his record as one of the all time leaders in sacks in the NFL's history.

His career highlights include:

  • 13 times Pro Bowler
  • Three times winner of the NFL Defensive Player of the Year Award
  • Retired with 198 sacks, the most in NFL history.
  • NFL Champion in 1996
  • Winner of 5 AFC Championships
  • Named to the NFL's 75th Anniversary Team
  • Fourth overall pick in the 1984 NFL Supplemental Draft
  • Inducted to the Hall of Fame in 2006.
