McFarlanes Military Series 5 To Be Deployed
McFarlane Military Series 5 introduces 4 new figures and sculpts to join your previous Military collection.
This figures have accurate uniforms and equipment with McFarlanes usual excellent attention to detail. Each figure has been sculpted by top sculptors in real life action poses and are fully detailed replicas.
McFarlane Military Series Coastguard
The waves crash around the small armoured boat, it's engines straining against the lashing sea, the shrill cries of men shouting in anger and frustration can barely be heard above the seas turbulent sound, the loud retort of heavy machine gun fire, and the acidic smell of spent carbine is heavy in the air. Spent bullets hit the deck and roll around the gunners feet as his .50 calibre heavy machine gun spits them out angrily.
The coastguards gunner mate is trained to work with anything from a pistol to a
76mm gun. Formerly established in 1797 the role of the gunners mate and the
coastguards as a whole has expanded since the 9/11 attacks and now their job
encompasses both law enforcement and military roles. The coastguards play
an important role in homeland security and even includes operations overseas
supporting and protecting ground troops.
The McFarlane Military Series Coastguard figure stands approx 7 inches high and comes complete with a deck mounted
.50 caliber M2 heavy machine gun, measuring 6 x 6 1/2 inches, on a custom made
base. With spent bullets lying on the deck around him and his hands clenched on
the triggers you can almost hear the load retort of gun fire and smell the
carbine in the air.
Articulated at the neck, elbow and wrists.
McFarlane Military Series Army Special Forces
Stealthy he inches his way, forward his ears trained to pick up the slightest
sound, his eyes scan the landscape looking for any sign of a threat, a M203 with
grenade launcher ready, finger poised on the trigger, his body tensed and ready
for action.
Also known as the Green Beret, the Army Special Forces often work in foreign countries on clandestine missions as well as aiding and protecting humanitarian efforts. In current day situations a lot of their work involves counter-terrorism and counter-espionage operations as well as using unconventional
methods of warfare. Another important task of the Green Beret is to train local forces in foreign countries when military aid is given.
This figure features a McFarlane Military Series Special Forces operator heavily clothed and armed with a M4 carbine with M203 rocket launcher and a 9mm pistol. Standing approx 6 1/2
inches tall this superbly sculpted and painted figure is an excellent addition
to the Military line.
Articulated at the neck and wrists.
McFarlane Military Series Marines
Head scarf wrapped around his face to protect him from the swirling sand whipped
up by a fierce desert wind he moves quickly from house to house, gun held ready
for any suspicous movements or aggressive action. Quickly he moves to the front
of the next house, his eyes squinting against the wind and sand, a M203 held
ready at his side, his foot braced foot against the door ready to make his
entrance.
The RCT Regimental unit is designed to support the regular army infantry with
smaller support units in order to enable it to become more self sufficient in
combat situations. These support units include combat engineers, air defence,
reconnaissance and medical units.
This McFarlane Military Series RCT Marine is on a search mission and stands ready to forcibly open the
door of a suspect house with his foot. Measuring approx 6 1/2 inches in height
on a custom base with a 8 1/4 inch x 4 1/2 inch door he holds a M4 carbine with
a M203 grenade launcher ready. Articulated at the neck and shoulders
wearing a desert camouflage uniform.
McFarlane Military Series Air Force
He looks out of the cargo bay door, the green light above his head flashes
continously, silently reminding him of his duty. His feet braced against the
edge of the planes floor as he readies to launch himself out of the plane into
the clear blue sky, many thousands of feet below he can see the green jungle
vegetation passing by. He takes a deep breath and pushes himself out with his
feet and he floats away from the plane, falling down towards the ground below,
the cold air rushing past him as he counts silently to himself. He pulls on his
rip cord and his chute opens up above his head like a budding flower.
The Para Rescue unit has the unenviable task of the medical treatment and
recovery of personnel in both combat and humanitarian operations. They have a
rapid response capability and are trained in survival and evasion as well as
field and emergency medical care in adverse conditions both on land or water.
This 6 inch McFarlane Military Series Air Force Para Rescue operative is articulated at the neck,
shoulders and wrists. Included with this figure is a large airplane base
measuring 8 1/4 inches in height by 7 inches wide. He also comes complete with
combat loadout and M4 carbine with M203 grenade launcher.
Each of these figures has been carefully and meticuosly sculpted and painted to
give a realistic and authentic look and comes packed in a McFarlane Military Series
clamshell display case. The detail on these figures is excellent and is some of
the best I have seen on this type of figure.
