McFarlane NFL Figures 2 Pack – Joe Greene & James Harrison During his professional career, he led his team in four Super Bowls and received ten invitations for the pro bowl. At the peak of his career he starred in a famous Coco Cola advertisement, which was later spanned in to a movie titled ‘The Steelers & the Pittsburgh kid’. Football is his major passion and due to his prowess and tremendous ability to turn the tempo of any game in favor of his team he has established a dominating place for himself within the entire history of NFL professional players. He has been awarded and recognized for his outstanding skills on the field many times over, including receiving the titles of Best Defensive Player, All NFL and All conference recognition. Although an intimidating presence on the field, off field Greene was not much into signing fans’ autographs but preferred instead to have quiet discussions with his fans exchanging views about the game. James Harrison James Harrison was born in 1978 and hails from Akron, Ohio. He is the youngest child in a huge family of fourteen children who showed a keen interest in baseball when he was at college. He later joined the Scranton Little League and was also chosen to represent the team of Stars in 2001. In his rookie year he represented the Archbishop Hoban High School and then Coventry High School and he was the first African American to have played football for them. In 2002 he was commissioned to the Pittsburgh Steelers as an undrafted player but only managed to play sporadically. After a short drop out Harrison was re-contracted to the Steelers 2004 from which point onwards he was one of the highest contributing forces for the team, particularly in the Super Bowl XL and XLIII. Harrison has a terrifying presence among the running backs and quarterbacks and his statistics, for a professional career of 8 years, includes 114 games, 3 pro bowls and 15 playoff games. In 2008 he was selected as the AP NFL best defensive player of the year and in 2009 he achieved the status of being the first Super Bowl player to intercept a return touchdown scaling the entire field length consisting of 100 yards.
