McFarlane NFL Figures: James Harrison Card Stadium Exclusive
James Harrison NFL Figure In 2002 the Pittsburgh Steelers commissioned James Harrison to their team as an undrafted player but due to this he could not exhibit his usual game prowess during his first year in his professional career and managed to play only on a strictly sporadic basis. In 2003 after being released from the Steelers he joined the Baltimore Ravens and was re-contracted by the Pittsburgh Steelers in 2004. From this point onwards there was no looking back for this powerful player as he went on to assist his team in recording unprecedented winnings in the ensuing seasons. He was one of the highest contributing forces for the team’s achievements in the Super Bowl XL and XLIII. Harrison is a terrifying presence among the running backs and quarterbacks. He has perfect ability to lay the lumber in a passing defense. His overall statistics during a professional career of 8 years includes 114 games, 3 probowls and 15 playoff games. In 2008 he was selected as the AP NFL best defensive player of the year and in 2009 he achieved the status of being the first Super Bowl player to intercept a return touchdown scaling the entire field length consisting of 100 yards. Also in 2009 Harrison signed and sealed a lucrative five year contract, which will take him all the way up to 2014 with the Steelers. He is well known in the world of football for his hard hitting tough tactics as a solid linebacker.
