NECA's Gears of War 3 Unveiled at Comic Con!

More than a few Gearheads turned at NECA's Comic-Con booth as the they unveiled the first two figures in their upcoming Gears of War 3 action figure line.

NECA had two new prototypes on show at this years 2010 SDCC booth featuring Marcus Fenix and Dominic "Dom" Santiago straight out of the new Gears of War 3 game!

Featuring a new look and the wicked Pendulum Wars Lancer these figures are awesomely detailed and breathtaking!

These figures are slated for release with the game in March/April 2011 and will feature a massive 37+ points of articulation - the most yet in a NECA action figure.

Marcus is due to be released in Wave 1 while Dom is planned to be included in Wave 2.

But rest assured these are just the tip of the iceberg! These figures are just a sneak peek of some of the cool Gears of War things to come from NECA and Fans can expect new bad guys, new versions of Baird and Cole, and much, much more.

NECA also stated that The Kantus, Skorge and Boomers figures WILL be released, though concrete plans on how have not yet been confirmed.

NECA have also said that an "Operation: Hollow Storm" box set is a possibilty in the future.

So all you Gearheads out there, hang on for what looks like an exciting 2011...
