NHL Series 30 Lineup from McFarlane Toys

by Mamad

It is that time of the year again and hockey season is not far off and the guys at McFarlane are busy preparing their players in NHL 30 Sports Picks lineup to keep the momentum alive.

The pick features six players that will include the legendary Canadian player, Brian Gionta; Mario Lemieux and Daniiel Sedin making their fourth and third appearances respectively; Pavel Datsyuk and Ryan Smyth who are making the lineup for the second time and the rookie, James Reimer.

It is rather strange choice to see some of these players reproduced for many times while other players worthy of tribute still not making the lineup. Top NHL players such as Sidney Crosby with his unparallel burst of energy who consistently leads the team to victory using his fantastic tape to tape passes; other aces such as Russian born talented Alex Ovechkin, Wayne Gretzky or even captain of Boston Bruins , Zdeno Chara are all worthy of making the lineup. Nevertheless they will have to wait their turns, so let us examine the series 30 members, the characters who are in and not those who have been left out!

MARIO LEMIEUX , Pittsburgh’s captain is a true veteran who is no stranger to fans and collectors alike. His result of 16 goals and 28 assists in just 23 games in 1991 games, many victorious results and numerous won trophies on his way to lifting the Stanley Cup are just some of them.

Vancouver’s best player, DANIEL SEDIN is responsible for over 40 goals and over 100 points while bidding for Stanley Cup. He is credited the best overall player anywhere by many of his supporters and critics.

PAVEL DATSYUK who is making the lineup for the second time is one of many good Russian born players who have made the top ranking. He powers his way in, as well as killing virtually every penalty.

RYAN SMYTH known as “Captain Canada” who left hometown and had four successful seasons in Colorado and Los Angles will finally return home this season. A positive move for Oilers and the fans are expected to welcome their Captain back home with another standing ovation that he has truly earned.

Montreal’s BRIAN GIONTA is simply a legend. Fans may recall how he contributed to Stanley Cup victory in New Jersey and the 48-goal season.

JAMES REIMER is making the lineup for the first time – He is the goal tender at Maple Leafs who has kept most of them out by using his infamous butterfly style of tending the net.

WE can expect to see NHL 30 figures in late January 2012
