The shiny armored C-3PO with his golden colour is one of the face icons of the Star Wars franchise, C-3PO along with its partner droid R2-D2 are the most renown and popular droids of the Star Wars universe and are very well known for their amazing feats in order to assist the heroes of the galaxy far far away.

C-3PO has a history with both the heroic Skywalkers Anakin and his son Luke Skywalker.

In fact C-3PO was created by Anakin Skywalker himself when he was only a kid.

He created C-3PO in order to assist her mother Shmi Skywalker in her routinely work, C-3PO was designed as a humanoid protocol droid in service for humans with the knowledge of over six million forms of communication, be it languages of different galactic species or electronic protocols.

After Anakin left with the Jedi Master, Qui Gon Jinn, C-3PO continued to service Shmi Skywalker and her new husband, 10 years later when Anakin returns for his mother and he reunites with C-3PO.

From then onwards C-3PO tags along with Anakin and his lover Senator Padme Amidala on their adventureS and then continues to serve Padme during the events of the Clone Wars.

After the launch of the Galactic Empire by Palpatine, Anakin turns to the darkside and then with the death of Padme C-3PO, along with R2-D2, came under the custody of Senator Bail Organa who also adopted Leia, the daughter of Anakin and Padme.
