If your looking for your very own Spartan Soldier then you're going to be spoilt with McFarlane's Halo 3 Series 2 Action figures.

Since it was announced that McFarlane would be producing Halo 3 action figures fans and collectors have been clamouring for more.

But who are what are the Spartan Soldiers?

The Spartans aren't just soldiers or fighters but the elite of the elite.

Each Spartan is hand picked at a young age to be part of the secretive SPARTAN program.

These unique young men and women are humanities greatest fighting force and weapon against the onslaught of the hated armies of The Covenant.

Transformed by science and a highly intensive training schedule the SPARTANS are taught, and only know victory.

There will be several different armor and color variations available, with many of the variations being store or online exclusives.

In Halo, Orbital Drop Shock Troopers (ODSTs) are an elite special-forces group of the UNSCDF (United Nations Space Command Defense Force) Marine Corps, commanded by Naval Special Warfare. They are dropped into their mission areas by an HEV (Human Entry Vehicle) from low-orbit or "slipspace" drop. It's an all-volunteer outfit, and as mentioned in the book Halo: The Flood, it takes a "special kind of crazy" to join. The ODST often find themselves at odds with the rest of the UNSC Marine Corps and some view themselves as above the Marines. They're analogous to various types of special-forces personnel, such as Marine Force Recon and Navy SEALs.

Halo is a popular series of science fiction first-person shooter video games developed by Bungie Studios and published by Microsoft. The games are set in the "Halo universe"-- a science fiction universe created by Bungie Studios exclusively for the series.
