Spawn 11 Deadlier and Meaner Than Ever
A throwback to the core comic book series hardcore fans will love this figure.
Spawn 11 is based on the original Al Simmons character and this version is a very much an action orientated combat figure, deadlier and meaner than ever!
Featuring all the regular trademarks that make Spawn instantly recognisable he comes not only complete with his armor and spikes but also BOTH his heads.
In the past Spawn's hamburger head has only been available with a variant figure but you'll be happy to know that this figure comes with both his regular and hamburger heads.
The sculpting and paintwork overall is excellent, especially on his hamburger head. In fact this is the best version of his hamburger head Mc Farlane's have done to date in my opinion.
Armed and dangerous, leaping into action over a bullet riddled wall Spawn 11 comes with four weapons and artillery in this impressive diorama. Another nice added touch which I'm sure some of you will appreciate is his removable bandana.
I only have two minor gripes with this figure. The first is the quality and standard of the sculpt and paintwork on the bullet riddled wall, which is average at best and certainly not of the same standard as the rest of this piece.
The rest is so well sculpted and painted that it really makes this stand out more than it would normally. Maybe the wall idea was a last minute decision and was rushed, whatever the reasons are it's still a disappointment..
My second gripe is that, like many Mc Farlanes figures, the so called interchangeable heads aren't so easy to change. Which is a shame because I thought this was one of the big pluses of this series.
But despite this the overall effect of this figure and the diorama is allot better than what I was expecting and is certainly one of the better versions of Al Simmons / Spawn.
