HELPING YOU TAKE CARE OF YOUR FIGURE(S)!
Starting Lineup misprint question.

I have a 1996 Jim Edmonds Kenner Starting Lineup figure, still in the box and in excellent condition.
At this time, he played for the California Angels. When you look at his jersey, he has an Angels jersey on, but instead of an Angels hat with an "A" logo, he is wearing a Cleveland Indians hat with a Chief Wahoo on it.
This is obviously a misprint. After much research, I have never been able to find another example of this mistake. So, as far as i know this is the only one of it's kind.
I've seen other examples of misprints of this kind, and know that they sell for a good amount of money. I was wondering if there have been any other reports of this misprint, and what this figure might be worth.
Thank you.

Hi Chris,
I can't comment on this particular "misprint" as there were so many and there are no real "price guides" about these figures but they usually range from about $3-$20 for the regular figures.
As with anything collectible it is a matter of supply and demand and the popularity of the player in question "AT THE TIME OF THE SALE!".
For example if a player has just retired or died then the prices of his/her figure are likely to go up.
HTH.
Colin
